My clerihew

Kia ora,

Today I have been learning how to write a clerihew.

My clerihew is about a horse.

Did you know that the clerihew poem was invented by Edmen clerihew bentley; he named the poem after his middle name. A clerihew is a short poem with the first line  ending with a name.

I enjoyed finding a topic for my poem

I found it challenging to find rhyming words for my poem.

My name is Quein and I am a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. Ka mau te wehi! It looks amazing! It is fantastic to see that you completed the clerihew poem. I was impressed that you included an interesting fact that the poem was named after Edmund Clerihew Bentley. This is a fun fact that shows that you have gone the extra mile to research a fact and include it into your blog post. It also may encourage your fellow bloggers to engage with your post and complete their own poem. Your poem was well written and I can see you put a lot of thought into it, the picture of the horse also is great as it complements your poem. I am very impressed with the thoughtfulness you put into your blog posts and the effort you put into your tasks- Ka Pai!!!

I love how horses have lightning fast reflexes and yet they are so proud and majestic. What do you like about horses?

Keep up the Super work I look forward to your next blog post!!!

    Ngā mihi,

    Quein
