Buzy bees 🐝

 Kia ora,

Today I have been playing on minecraft bees.

On minecraft i got to learn heaps of interesting facts and i even got to decorate my own field with flowers and hives. 

Well doing this task i learnt about honey bees, worker bees, honey bees and mason bees. 

Worker bees collect pollen from flowers and then bring it back to the hive. 

Mason bees or jewel bees can be bright sparkle green,  blue or red.  

Unlike humans All bees have a hard outer shell called an exoskeleton. Bees have three main body parts: the head, the thorax and abdomen. Bees also have an open circulatory system meaning they don't have veins or arteries but rather all their internal organs are gathered in liquid, a mix of blood and lymphatic fluid.

Forced perspective

 Kia ora,

Today I have been learning about a forced perspective. A forced perspective is when you make something look what it is not.

The first step you need to do is get an object that can be a toy, a pet or even your hand. Then you need to line the camera up perfectly where you want it so it looks like you are holding something or running away from something. Then you can take the photo.

I found it challenging to line up the camera with the object

Cool coding

 Kia ora, 

Today i have been learning how to code with minecraft hour of code. 

I think hour of code is a fun game on minecraft that teaches kids how to code. When you enter the map you are greeted by a person who will help you along the way. I liked playing hours of code because I think it is really fun and I like how many things you get to choose from. Once you have chosen your agent you are given a set of places in time that have been messed up like instead of people trying to domesticate they try to domesticate bears. Then  you have to code your agent by giving step by step instructions. I found it challenging to give the right code to my agent. If i could travel to any time in the world I would go to when the Mona Lisa was painted or when ice cream was made.

Stick figure fun

It’s the holidays!

So, today for the summer learning journey I have been drawing stick figures doing loads of different activities. 

This is how to draw a  stick figure: 

1.Draw an oval for the head

2. Draw a straight line coming down from the bottom   

of the head

3. Draw a straight line coming from one side of the  

body

4. Repeat on the other side 

5.Draw a leg on the bottom 

6. Repeat on the other side 

And in about a minute you have got your very own simple stick figure

The stick figure is a simple way to draw a person using ovals,

curves and lines. Stick figures are also often the way that babies learn to draw people. Today stick figures are used to

o create comics, animations, games, film storyboards and also visual media. 

One of the more popular stick figures is the one and only Pak'n’save masco Stickman! You can see him in any p

ak’n’save ad and you might even see him in store too!

Another interesting fact about stick figures is that the first stick figure ever recorded dates back to 1964 WOW!

That was a long time ago.

I enjoy drawing the stick figures and thinking of cool activities that they can do. I found it challenging to get the position of it  body right

Today because it is coming to the season of summer 

we have been learning how to be sunsmart.

For this task we had to create a set of slides showing you 

some things you can do to be sunsmart.

I enjoyed doing this task because I found heaps of new 

things that you can do to be sunsmart.I found it challenging choosing a colour theme.

What is a covenant

kia ora,

We have been learning about what a covenant is. A covenant is a sacred agre ment with you and god. You do something for him and he will do something for you. I found it hard to thinnk of what examples there are. I enjoyed drawing my poster and colouring it. my next steps would be telling you more on what you can do to have a covenant with god.

Have You heard the storey of gods call to Abrham. Well we have recreated a play of that storey.Cick on the link to watch my I found it hard to speak load so that you can hear me. this week we have been learning about how to take care of are chromebooks it's important to make sure we can now how to take care of them and be on the right sight. my kawa of care slide will show you seven things you should do take care of your device. I enjoyed learning about this topic because it will help me to take better care of my device.I found it challenging to come up with more then five facts for my kawa of care.

  would rather learn to surf because  In Gisborne/ New Zealand there are some really good waves to ride and yes they are some pretty cool tricks you can do. I also love to swim and play in the water  do you like to surf?

Exploring blogs

Today I was learning to finding information on blogs

My new learning was finding what they like what year they are and how many views they have

I enjoyed  find out how many countries have been to the blogs 

I found it challenging to choose which thing they like because they had lots of information

My digital learning object shows I can read blogs and find information, put the information into a table, embed my slides into my blog.

Next time I would change  reading  the profiles first.

Kawa of Care

I was learning to take care of my cyber smart . My new learning was helpful  because I now no not to stack things on my cromebook and not to stake stuff on it. I found it hard to find the perect keypord picher. I found It easy to change the backrown.
