Sizzle zazzle I can smell and almost taste the sound of the sausages cocking on the barbeque. What's your favourite sound in summer?

Today I have been creating a summer text graphic.
With a quote about summer.For this task to step it up I have created a text graphic using my own image.

I enjoyed finding my own image for this task.
I found it challenging to find a quote.

 Today I have been making my own snoozatron.

You may be thinking, what is a snoozatron?

Well a snoozatron is a machine that helps you sleep or like it says in the name snooze.

My snoozatron has three things to  help you sleep.

I enjoyed doing thIs task because it was fun to think of things to help you sleep.

Bild a brige

Kia ora,

Today i have been building a bridge on minecraft.

The first thing I needed to do was build a structure to help me with this. I watched a video that taught me about bridges. Have you ever noticed a bridge that has sides that look like triangles? triangles are often used for building because if you put force on the pint it will not bend.


Then I collected some materials that I needed to make my bridge and started building.


I enjoyed doing this activati because i found the facts in the video intresting

Optical illusions

  Kia ora,

 

Today I have been learning about optical illusions.

 Optical illusions trick your brain into thinking that something is what it is not.

So for this task I have created my own optical illusion.

My optical illusion looks like it is a tunnel or a hole.  

I enjoyed looking at the different optical illusions there are.I found it difficult to get the lines even

Summer fun

 Kia ora,

Today i Have been learning how to create a photo collage of all the things that remind me of summer.

In this collage i have Included pictures of 

Seals, Jellyfish, People surfing, Sunglasses, The beach,Ice cream, Palm trees, Flip flops And a barbeque

I enjoyed creating my photo collage because it was fun finding all the photos.

I found it difficult to fit all the images in the college.

magnet poem

 Kia ora, 

Today I have been creating a magnetic poem on google drawing. 

For this task my challenge was to create a poem using words about summer.

I enjoyed making this poem because I have never done a magnetic poem before.

Next  time I would only use 5 nouns to make it harder.

Cat food pourer

Today i have been learning about inventing

And how inventions are made to fix problems.

So for this task I have come up with an invention that will fix the problem of spilling cat food.

I enjoyed envinting my invention and I found this task fun because I liked designing my invention.

I found it challenging to find the right fighting shape to make my invention.
