Did you know that the Olympic games happen every four years. This week we have be watching and reading about the Olympic games. I have created a set of slides to tell you about the olympic games. I enjoyed learning about all the different sports in the Olympics and watching the rowing and boxing.What is your favourite sport?

3, 2, 1, ... Blast off!

Have you ever seen a rocket before? Well have you ever seen a water rocket The aqua pod is a small orange launch pad that connects to a plastic bottle that launches into the air.


The first step is to fill the bottle about 1/3 full. Then turn the Aqua pod upside down and connect the bottle to the valve and push it down so it’s tight to the rubber seal.


Then you connect the pump to the metal valve a start pumping 8-12 pumps whith your foot.
Then when you finish pumping, unwind the string all the way out, pull the string and your bottle should shoot up into the air.


It will fly up because all the air you pumped into the bottle created pressure. But because the air will have to go on top of the water when the waters out it will make the bottle shoot up.                                          Click on the link to watch the video

mini golf corse

kia ora,
I have created a mini Golf course on goggle slides

That we had  to measure the area and perimeter of.
My digital learning object shows my mini golf course that I have created and measured
to find the area of. I enjoyed designing my golf course because i like putting in the obstacles.
I found it challenging to figure out the area and perimeter.
Next time I would like to add more obstacles and curves.

Every year we have a competition to see whos art work goes on are home learning books. We have been taught to shade and to take away colour. I enjoyed creating my art work because we get to do our own thing. I found it Challenging to come up with ideas.
