Recount Writing

What are we learning? Group 1 and 2: We are learning to use similes to create a picture in the reader's mind.

Yeah she says in a Tired voice It's Tuesday  and whats on today it,s the kapa haka festival. Quickly I get dressed, have Bekfast, brush my teeth and do my hair in a high ponytail. Then I dash to the car like a silver arrow.

 When i get to school i hang my Bag  on  the up on the hanger and next i go  to  the bathrooms to  get dressed into my black outfit  i go into room three to get my moko then into room four to get some lip liner to make are lips black also we went to room one to  get a red feather .   

we  walk down  through the  golf park and in to  the show grounds when were in we find are tents and have a practice then  the man announce
